Employee engagement is defined by what an employee feels about a company on a consistent basis. Do you feel valued or vulnerable? Motivated or disjoined? Making one bad hire can ruin a great team or office environment. It’s these zombie hires that can infect perfectly engaged employees and turn a dream team into a living nightmare. Make sure you’re making the right appointments not just experience wise but also from a cultural fit perspective.
